My name is Trevor Jones, I have represented Wales in both European & Commonwealth fly-fishing internationals, I also was privileged to coach the 2006 South African fly-fishing team who were over in Wales for the Commonwealths. I was official fly tyer for the 2002 welsh international team.
In 2006 I became Fly-fishing & fly-tying magazine open fly-tying league champion. I am also current secretary of my local flydressers guild (cambrian branch). Many of my patterns have successfully travelled as far afield as Canada and South Africa, and also have been used throughout the UK and Ireland.
One in particular has been very successful on the river Slaney in county Wicklow, it is regarded as a must have pattern on this river for browns, seatrout & salmon, the fly is the Nebo Spider.
Regards, Trevor.
